How to Wear Blusher

7 April 2010

Blusher brings colour and a healthy glow to your face. It’s vital that blusher should complement rather than overpower the rest of your makeup. Where you put blusher is very important and it should be built up slowly to give you a natural glow rather than a stripe of colour.

What colour blush should you pick?

A simple rule would be the fairer the skin the lighter the shade, the darker the skin the deeper the shade. In general pinks or peachy tones are a safe bet.

Make-Up Tips

Mineral powders
Taking the make-up industry by storm at the moment are the ‘Mineral Powders’. I needed some convincing when these first arrived and now I’m a fan! Not only are these powders packed full of ingredients which are good for your skin, but are also suitable for all skin types and especially sensitive skin. They are most effective when brushed on with a good solid thick ‘kabuki’ brush.

Liquid foundation
The base most of us are familiar with. This can be used to create light cover or larger amounts can be used for stronger cover. Traditionally these were… read more…
