Get the Military Look

This season’s military trend has a soft edge and is practical to wear making it very easy putting together a comfortable day time look.

To create this look, aim for shades such as khaki, beige, sand colour and crisp white. Key details to watch out for are multi-pocket jackets, large silver or gold buttons, epaulette detail and army inspired prints.

If you already have combat trousers, shorts or an utility inspired A-line skirt then update your look by wearing studded summer ankle boots such as those from River Island or a pair of studded wedges €23 from Penneys. Other accessories such as bangles, belt, neck scarf or hand bag can transform your existing wardrobe piece into an updated 2010 look!

My favourite military pieces are the denim military jacket with the chain epaulette detail and the khaki utility trousers both from ONLY!
